hi,

I started to build application for kids
my project has a lot of images and sounds
and i try to use timer to make animation
for some images ex.( make the image moving from top to the center then stop)
but i'm afraid in future after i spend a lot of time in programming
find my application become slowly cause of using timer a lot,,

could you tell me please, what is the best way to make the animation and reduce images and sound size??

thank you,,

Quite frankly, WPF would be far more suited to this type of application than Windows Forms. As for how to make your current app more efficient, it's pretty much impossible to say without a better idea of exactly what you're doing, and it may not be possible at all.

Im not quite sure whether this will help but i had the same problem when testing some my game designs out i found that a single timer has a lot of stress if it is the only one used so i added a another timer to split the load, it worked for me it might work for you but theres no garentees ... :/
