Did you read the error message? It tells you exactly what the problem is:

System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

My guess is that you are assuming that the user has entered a number into a TextBox and simply using its Text property without actually checking.

Don't assume that the Text of the TextBox contains a number. Validate the String first and convert it to an Integer yourself. The obvious candidate for that is Integer.TryParse, which does both without throwing any exceptions.

First 2 & 4 lines were uncomment. When i comment them program is working fine without any problem or without converting to Integer...
So what do u think there is problem in still data type ???
