Unable to add "MenuStrip"

Hello,

For some reason I can't add MenuStrip to any of my Forms. I even started a new WinApp, but still no lock.

When I click on MenuStrip and try to add it on my form nothing happens
Also if I try to drag it to the Form my curser changes to the "block, (circle with a diagonal bar in middle)

Any ideas why this is happening?

Are there any other controls or components in the Toolbox that you can't add to a form? Just to confirm, this is definitely a Windows Forms Application project and the project isn't running when you try to add, correct?

thats the weird part. I can add buttons/menustrip/toolstrip/.... but not MenuStrip. :/
and yes it is a Windows Forms App Project that is not running

The first thing I'd do is remove the offending item from the Toolbox, then reboot, then add it back in. If it still doesn't work, I'd reinstall VS.

There is also a 'Reset ToolBox' context menu option, or in 'Choose Toolbox Items' dialog there's a Reset button.
