Treeview Background

Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to add a background image to a treeview component for a offline vb.net 2003 application .

Treeview control doesn't support that.

Actually it can be done but, you supppose to inherit from treeview and do some hardcoding. However, i am not sure how it will look like with image in background as it needs to hold text over solid color background and I can bet there is a better solution (more adequate i'd say) for the same idea. Can you explain what do you expect if we offer a soluition for this problem?

No, inherit-draw don't work, Treeview is a wrapper for a Windows Common Control, only way around to draw to it is to use windows messaging.
