Transfer data from AS/400 to a Excel workbook

I have VB.NET 2003. I would like to know if anyone could provide any information how to transfer data from the AS/400 and drop it in a excel file?
I have a basic example form below. It shows the file path where the file should go into and the user just hit enter.
