So I've made a simple tile game with numbers using a bunch of labels. I have coded all the labels so that when you click one it will move to the correct position. Now my only question is how do I verify if the player has won using a boolean function. I know there should be some way to do it without having to write it in the code over and over again

Thanks for the help

I know it is not happiest solution as all your code is in same way. Anyway you can try this:
VB.NET:
Private Function win() As Boolean
If lbl1.Text = "1" AndAlso lbl2.Text = "2" AndAlso lbl3.Text = "3" AndAlso lbl4.Text = "4" AndAlso lbl5.Text = "5" AndAlso lbl6.Text = "6" _
AndAlso lbl7.Text = "7" AndAlso lbl8.Text = "8" AndAlso lbl9.Text = "9" AndAlso lbl10.Text = "10" AndAlso lbl11.Text = "11" AndAlso lbl12.Text = "12" _
AndAlso lbl13.Text = "13" AndAlso lbl14.Text = "14" AndAlso lbl15.Text = "15" AndAlso lbl16.Text = String.Empty Then
Return True
Else
Return False
End If
End Function

usage:
VB.NET:

If win() = True Then
MessageBox.Show("You won !!!")
End If

HTH
