StreamWriter & SelectedItem question

I build an application that it ReadLine a text file and it adds all Line in ListBox1.Items

I need editing the ListBox1.SelectedItem Text but i don't know how to do

But i need that clicking another button it edits the ListBox1.SelectedItem text with TextBox1.Text I don't know how to

And I want that editing any ListBox1.SelectedItem it creates a new file with all ListBox1.Items

But it creates file with 2048 Bytes and i need over 4096 Bytes.

You set the text of the current item to the new text:

ListBox1.Items(ListBox1.SelectedIndex) = TextBox1.Text

But it continues to make file with 2048 Bytes and i need size over 4096 how can i solve?!

why do you need a buffer of 4096?

You're using WriteLine completely incorrectly. I suggest that you read the documentation for that method for a start, so you underxtand what it can and can't do. If you want to use a StreamWriter then you are writing text, not binary data. There is no Byte array involved. If you want to pad a string to a particular length then use the PadRight method. Alternatively, don't use a StreamWriter and convert the string to a byte array. You can then pad out the array if it is smaller than the required size. I have to say though, creating a text file with dummy characters is really weird.

But it doesn't write all Items in WriteLine why?! :'(

Like I said, you are using WriteLine in completely the wrong way. Have you read the documentation?
