Somehow, I hid the windows Form Designer generated code.
How do I show it again?

That could be a problem. Perhaps you are not even using Visual Studio 2005 as your forum profile proudly proclaims?
 
I think perhaps that if you have upgraded VS2003 code that didn't use partial classes, the generated code is still in a Region at top of regular form class code. Is this the case? Do you see any code regions that are collapsed that you can expand?
 
No, this is created in vb.net.In previous projects I didn't have this problem.Although the application compiles and runs correctly, it just doesn't show the Windows form Designer generated code in code view, neither in solution explorer....Is there an option where you enable or disable to view the automatic generated code?
 
Can you send us a screenshot of the solution explorer in "show all files" mode? Attach it to your forum post...
