I'm working on a project using RFID technologies. My RFID reader already has an existing Delphi dll. I was told to use VB.net and ActiveX controls to code serial communication to read the ID number from my RFID tag. Any help on how this can be done? Keep in mind I'm a complete novice to VB.net, Delphi and RFID readers. The only language I'm any way familiar with is Java.
