Reporting display values that are auto calculated

hi there

i have a report in which i want to display values that are auto calculated but not stored in the database.only one field is stored in the database table
e.g the table has this column; Positions which stores the number of positions (Filled positions and Positions Available are auto calculated using the value for positions which is stored in the database and should be displayed in the report but not being stored in the database because these are perodically changing values
