Query about setup creation

Hi

Can anybody please tell me how to add serial number option in setup.
So that when user tries to install my software then he/she has to enter proper serial number like we usually do while installing MS-Office.

Isn't there any method to add a serial number while making setup in setup wizard in VB.NET
