I am new to .net and have just published a application via ftp that is pulling data from a ms sql database.
Running the page locally from visual studio works fine. But when uploaded (published) to the website it asks for my username and password, using IE it looks like windows credentials.
How do I turn this off because I don't want this, plus it is stopping me from using it as I don't know the credentials.
Windows Authentication is disabled it seems (select project > f4).
Hope this question is not to silly, I did look but most results came back with intranet examples.
