Is it recommended to use VS IDE's "Data source" wizard to connect to databases?
I've frequently seen it programmed manually vs using the wizard.
I recently created an application at work that connects to our database, I went the easy route and used the wizard. I connected to it, and binded all necessary controls to the data set.
Is there any advantage to manually programming it in / connecting at run time?
