Problem in passing data from Popup to a dropdownlist! Help Me Please..

Good Morning Gentlemen,

This is the first post for me in this Great Forum, and that wouldn't be like this without you ^_^...

Let's begin discussing my problem,

The problem is that I want to pass data which is the selected item in a dropdownlist that is in a popup window, to another dropdownlist in the opener window ..

I can't use Query String because I don't want the fields to be deleted in the main window .. so I looked forward to solve this problem using javascript, but I couldn't,

So, can anyone pleeeeeeaaase tell me how can I do that

I have done this using a modal dialog via window.showModalDialog. The opener can receive back a return value from the opening window... here's a link to the msdn reference for this function with some nice examples:

This may not work outside of Internet Explorer, so you may need to find an alternate approach, but not sure.
