picturebox to display with some special effects

dont know where is the correct place to post, its my first time posting. that's why.... if this is not the place.. i'm sorry...
in one of my form i have a picturebox in it. when a particular function occurs, then automatically(not in button click) this picture should appear on my entire screen. and when another function occurs, then this picture will return to its orginal size. till this i done.
but i need this picture to display with some special effects. (eg:in power point, we have lots of display styles to display pages). for eg: like this picture is sliding and covering the entire screen and stops. or like picture getting bigger and bigger and cover the entire screen and stops. some attracting way to display the picture.
not getting any idea how to do this... and i tried to search in internet for help... not getting any..... so please help me to find a solution for this....

i think u can use flash for special effects.. also specially flashes can be used to work with vb.. check this link.. hope it will be useful
