Hey everyone, I am new to ASP.NET and actually all sorts of web developing. I am a quick learner adn determined so here's the thing. If you have ANY tips on starting a personal website please just throw em at me. ANYTHING. I want to have this site running from my house and for starters I want it to run a simple messenger. This will be for learning mostly, I'm not trying to me yahoo or nothing. I really need to learn this and get it right. Later I plan to drop a huge investment and really build my site but I want it from scratch. I'm sure you guys feel me on that. So, ANY TIPS? I am all ears. ANd I mean tips like, what to code with ASP.NET? How often should I use remote programming? Common problems, ect ect. I hope everyone that's involved puts something up to read b/c I am sure I won't be the only person to take advantage of this thread. Thankyou!
