Can obfuscated MSIL code be reversely engineered ?

Which are the best obfuscation tools on the web at the moment for .NET assemblies ?

If I remove .NET dependency from an assembly; will it be slow when you run it ?

Will obfuscation increase the size of an assembly ?

Preemptive's Dotfuscator is a great .NET code obfuscation tool. A lightweight community edition ships with Visual Studio .NET 2003 & 2005, (it was to be included in Orcas). The professional edition has a lot more options for code obfuscation and code compression.
