new to vb .net need help

hello all,well im havin a lil trouble installing vb.net 2003 , the .net framework
installed successfully but when i put in the vb cd in to install it my
computer goes into a blue screen and says something a bout a kernel
error and says if it keeps happening disable my bios memory options so could somebody please help me out id really appreciate this so much


my specs
windows xp professional sp1
533mhz
191 sd ram
35 gb hard drive

I think you're going to be all on your own one this one.

It sounds like it's a problem with your computer. I don't think the blue screen of death is even in Windows 2000, XP anymore. If you're running 98... upgrade.

LOL I wish!

Have you tried laving the cd in when you reboot, then exploring it and running the setup? ie not using the autoplay.

yes i have tried that still the same thing and all it even says if this problem keeps happenin disable bios memory options but i dont know how to do that ??

Well to get into the BIOS usually you'll hit del. or F2 at startup (just after the memory check)

Have you had problems with any other progs?
