Question New Problem with Visual Basic and publishing

I have been trying without success for a full day now to publish my project. I am getting two errors. One is the cannot publish because a project failed to build. Bogus, as it builds fine. I tried the ole right click and publish same errors. The second error is a bit different. It is saying it cannot copy app.config to bin/blah blah because its too long??? Below is a pic of exact messages. If anyone can help, I would be indebted to you. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you actually read what the second error message is saying or did you just look at the words? It is telling you EXACTLY what the problem is.

I have read and read, but still don't know how to fix it.

Instead of making me feel sub-human, teach me. I am not a VB professional such as yourself.

Plus, I published the same program 15 minutes before and didn't get this error.

It says that either the folder path or the file path is too long. What do you usually do if something is too long? You make it shorter. If you want to keep that long project and file name then you need to publish to a location that will result in a shorter path.
