modifying a record after adding it

i have done my vb.net form linked to database access
the problem am facing is that if i add a record then tries immediatley to modify it it gives error but if i modify any other record created before it works...
wut is the bug that is buggin me and stoping the program to run properly??

Anyone have a hint abt that???
