Media player / sound card selection

I want to create a media player where I an select the sound card.
so e.g. I have 3 sound cards installed.
And with sound card 1 I want to play a MP3 play list, Sound card 2 => internet radio, sound card 3 => another MP3 play list.

I looked on the internet but so far I haven't found any info about sound card detection (VB.NET)

Hope you guys can help me......
