Hi There,

can someone help me with the above please..

I have spent all day reading old posts from many websites and none of the advice that may have helped other people has worked for me.

I am creating my application using VS2005 on my XP machine. My SQL Server 2005 Express is on a Vista Business machine.

I've installed it on a Windows 2000 machine and getting the error above when I try to run it.

Can anyone provide any help please? I am using SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode so I don't think that is the problem.

Really bugging me now.

have you used the surface area config to change any permissions on the sql server?
