location determination

Hi,

I have to write a program for pocket pcs in vb.net that determines the location of where the owner of the pocket pc is, through wifi connections. In short I have to write a WPS system. Does anybody have any links or something that can help me with this?

Do you have any scenario maybe (spec or something) ?
Notice that it is not trivial Q at all ... btw, who told you that you have to write something like that?

Hi,

The scenario goes like this: You walk around somewhere with the program running on you pda, in our case we are going to take the university campus as testing area. Now when you for instance enter the restaurant, you receive the menu of the day on your pda, when you enter the library, the newest books,... So I need to determine location so I can know when they are in these places. There are different WiFi connections throughout the campus.

This a project for my internship in my senior year at college.
