Visual Basic 2005 Express, Visual Web Developer 2005 Express, etc. are basic, free IDEs dedicated to Windows Forms in a single language or, in the case of VWD, Web Forms in two languages. Visual Studio 2005 Standard is like all the Express editions rolled into a single IDE with a few additional features thrown in. Visual Studio 2005 Professional has a lot of extra functionality, and then there are the Team editions as well. Here is a general feature comparison.
