Javascript Encryption and Vb.net Decryption??

I need to encrypt a string using javascript and decrypt it using vb.net, is there a compatible encryption/decryption method between javascript and vb.net to be used???

.NET supports most common encryption algorithms natively and allows you to add support for more, so all that really matters is what you can do in JavaScript.
