Question Is dll created in vb 2010 Express a Windows dll or active X dll?

It is claimed that vb 2010 Express can only generate an Active X dll. What type of dll does in fact vb 2010 Express generate by default and is it possible to generate a windows dll?

It's neither. It's a .NET assembly. Why exactly are you asking? What is it that you're trying to achieve and exactly what issue(s) are you having?

Strictly speaking, no it's not, although it is possible to make a .NET assembly visible to COM applications.
