install on server issues

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a major differencee installing a vb.net app between a client and servers?

I have an application which uses event handlers to find created files and attach to them via oledb. this works fine on the client side but not on the server. I'm very confused and I guess I am just looking for some pointers.

this app is not a service. although I would like to turn it into one as soon as I get the beta to work.
