What?s new in this release?
The long awaited version of Aspose.Slides for .NET (7.8.0) has been released. This is a maintenance release where several presentation rendering issues have been addressed. We have now improved the HTML import support in Aspose.Slides text frames and have provided support for tables tags, text formatting tags and many other embedded CSS properties tags. We have resolved many chart, table and text rendering, as well as export to PDF issues in this new release. Many slide cloning and table manipulation issues have also been rectified. We have also enhanced the performance of Aspose.Slides when managing the presentation tables in this release. Some important bug fixes included in this release are given below
- Support for inserting HTML & XML content to slide
- Implement Import from HTML into PPTX
- Performance enhanced when getting table coordinates
- Overlapping elements now correctly included in shapes GetThumbnail
- AssertionError fixed on using special Chinese TrueType fonts in presentation
- Exported PDF contains artifacts is now fixed
- Page number format change for presentation generated from POTX template
- Extra legend values issue is resolved when rendering in PDF
- Chart is missing is fixed in generated PDF
- Text underline is missing in generated PDF
- Lines missing is resolved in generated PDF
- Html to pptx table import is broken after the Aspose.Html update.
- Wrong position of category axis labels
- Markers of series are missing or drawing incorrectly is now fixed
- Graph legend overlay property improved to retain in cloned slide
- Chart missing on thumbnail is now fixed
- Cell's height changing issue is resolved after text adding
- Charts missing in generated PDF is now fixed
- Corrupt PDF file generation is fixed for POT files
- Missing slide contents in generated Pdf Notes is resolved
- Performance improved when reading FirstRowIndex and Height properties of CellEx
- Text added in cell in second row resets OffsetY value of cells in that row
- TableEx implementation causes too many regressions is now fixed

Aspose.Slides is a .NET component to read, write and modify a PowerPoint document without using MS PowerPoint. PowerPoint versions from 97-2007 and all three PowerPoint formats: PPT, POT, PPS are also supported. Now you can create, access, copy, clone, edit and delete slides in your presentations. Other features include saving PowerPoint slides into PDF, adding & modifying audio & video frames, using shapes like rectangles or ellipses and saving presentations in SVG format, streams or images.
