What’s new in this release?

The new release of Aspose.Slides for .NET 5.0.0 includes the long awaited feature of importing OpenOffice presentations in ODP format and save them as PPTX. The feature for creating and updating charts has also been enhanced in this release. Many issues related to presentation load /save and cloning have been resolved in this new release. The slide cloning for both PPT and PPTX has also been improved. We have also enhanced the rendering support for PDF and thumbnails generation. This release includes plenty of new and improved features as listed below

- Adding / Copying slide notes in PPTX
- Import OpenOffice presentations in ODP format
- Support for GetThumbnail(System.Drawing.Size)
- OleObjectFrameEx importing from PPT
- Adding Pie Shape
- Problem opening presentation in latest version of PowerPoint 2007 SP2
- Reading external links in the presentation issue is resolved
- Cells Image issues is resolved and now properly changing for table cells
- Issues with Missing text and font size in the exported PDF are resolved
- Enhanced Font recognition in Japanese language
- PPTX to PDF export issues are resolved
- MS PowerPoint 2010 slides cloning issues are resolved
- Enhanced Text formatting while saving the presentation
- Enhanced cloning slides in PPTX
- Enhanced hyperlink to relative paths

Overview: Aspose.Slides for .NET

Aspose.Slides is a .NET component to read, write and modify a PowerPoint document without using MS PowerPoint. PowerPoint versions from 97-2007 and all three PowerPoint formats: PPT, POT, PPS are also supported. Now you can create, access, copy, clone, edit and delete slides in your presentations. Other features include saving PowerPoint slides into PDF, adding & modifying audio & video frames, using shapes like rectangles or ellipses and saving presentations in SVG format, streams or images.

Create Matrix Templates in Excel & Report Conditional Formatting


What is new in this release?

The long awaited version of Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services 1.7.0 has been released. It includes Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services designer supports to create matrix template in MS Excel. The Conditional Formatting for table and matrix report items is also supported. Moreover, the Encryption Configuration is also enhanced in this release. This release includes plenty of new and improved features as listed below

- Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services designer supports to create matrix template in Excel.
- Supports Conditional Formatting for table and matrix report items.
- Adds rendering tablix report item only for CSV and TXT formats in SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services.
- Optimizes Encryption configuration in Aspose.Cells.ReportingServices.xml file.
- Fixed Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services report designer and report format bug.
- Fixed hiding row bug.
- Fixed merging row algorithm.
- SSRS CSV Export Encoding issue is resolved

Overview: Aspose.Cells for .NET

Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services allows you to export native Excel reports in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Unlike the built-in renderer for Excel based reports, Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services provides an extended feature set and allows RDL reports to be converted to: Excel 97-2003 binary XLS format, SpreadsheetML or the Excel2007 XLSX format. With Aspose.Cells Report Designer tool, users can design & deliver reports into MS Excel directly without using Visual Studio IDE.
