Brightness,Contrast of Image

I want to adjust the color,brightness, hue and saturation of an image. What all properties of the image should i manipulate. I am providing the slider bar for all the for properties. On the movement of the slider bar what all properties of the image needs to be changed so as to allow the user to adjust the image.

I don't think this is as easy as manipulating the properties. I think you will need to do a pixelwise manipulation .. I am an old-timer (VB Programmer) we did it using API calls.

I suppose the problem will remain much longer if you don't start the project. Well how long do u get to resolve? Or you have only the idea?
C'mon man start something and back with concrete question/s .... i promise that will help you as much as possible. Like this it sounds as an order rather but problem "I want to adjust the color,brightness, hue and saturation of an image" you know what i mean
