Icollection error

I have a dal for my website that i am developing. when i use the Icollection syntax i am getting the error: System.Collections.ICollection' has no type parameters and so cannot have type arguments. can anyone tell me that this means.

What code are you using when you get this exception? Please don't make us guess.

sorry for taking so long to reply. I figured out my problem. It was really dumb on my part. i forgot to import the correct namespace for it
