How to use barcode scanner that scan and capture in my software?

Can any one please help me how to use barcode scanner that scan and capture codes in my software which is designed in vb.net.i am not able to do this please help me as soon as possible. I use this software in my gym store to capture and make bill using barcode.

Generally speaking, a barcode scanner will come with software including drivers at least. You will often be able to simply ignore the fact that there's a barcode scanner at all because the input appears just like it would if it came form the keyboard. If you have focus set to a TextBox and scan, the TextBox will receive the barcode and a Return, just as though they were typed.
