i want to have a combobox dropdownList

contains items +,++,+++,(arrow pointing to left),(arrow pointing to right),(arrow pointing in both directions)

have any ideas

I'm not sure I understand the problem. By arrows do you mean <, >, and <>? If so then you just add a ComboBox to your form and add the items you want through the Properties window.

Use the Windows Character Map applet to look for unusual characters. It will give you the character code to use to type them directly or you can copy and paste them from the applet.
