Its like this. Everytime i create an incident, its primary key will be for example... incident-24/11/11-1
1 will be a count so everytime i create another incident on the same day, it will increase the count by one and becomes incident-24/11/11-2
But if the date of the incident changes to 25/11/11, the count will be back to one.
how should i create the temp table where i will be keeping the count and also how do i reset it back to one if the date changes?
Please advice.
