About your question: do you know mySQL server name or IP? is it password protected? Do you want to use ODBC driver or .NET connector?

actually for connecting vb.net with mysql i have configure the IIS Server.
and i want a ODBC Connectivity.for it have download a ODBC Driver from the net and run the setup.

i don't want DSN Connectivity.

please help could u provide me the actual code
