how to check networkconnection

In my Application(vb.net) (in a form) i ve to check whether network connection is active or not.Is there any coding to check.please help me..

Do you mean active as in "operational" or "current activity" ? Both is possible to detect with NetworkInterface Class (System.Net.NetworkInformation). For example is has a OperationalStatus property, and it has a GetIPv4Statistics method that you can analyze to see if any parameters has current changes, for example with BytesReceived/BytesSent. The latter can also be monitored with a PerformanceCounter Class (System.Diagnostics).
