I have been writing windows applications for appx 9 months now. I have learned a lot with the help of many people and this forum site. I am now looking into writing a web application with microsoft development apps. It seems that everything that I read is pointing me to creating a website. The website interacts with some server side code. Is this what all web apps are like. My thoughts were that once a person connected through a website that it would load and application that is just a windows app. So I seem to be wrong or am in need of more information. Can anyone recommend a book or site that can help me get started to develop a web application? Thanks.
