What are your impressions of .NET CF apps?

Hi,
Just developed an inventory application using C# VS 2005 for a Food company. Although many features are impressive, the logic always depends on the developer to fulfil client requirements.
Issues can be solved in couple of ways, but selecting and implementing the way which makes application more reliable and faster is very tricky in Compact Framework (CF).
Overall Visual Studio 2005 environment is really classic, moreover, the forums and help available on internet is also fantastic.
I really enjoyed working with CF & VS 2005.
