I am currently in full flow writng applications in VB.NET 2005 and therefore may be getting blinded by all the tress re choice of devlopment application.
We have a need to merge data from 3/4 spreadsheets into one which will give all the required infomration, calculations etc ready for the mangers etc to read and digest.
I can write Excel application spreadsheets but was thinking is this something I can do from within VB.NET?
Read the spreadsheets and merge/calculate etc into a spreadsheet then open it from the vb application?
Read the spreadsheets and merge/calculate etc into a vb view of some kind, third party viewer or similar?
Could the gurus who are s**t hot on these kind of things share their wisdom with me and point me to the correct path?
Thnx
