Getting a file from an FTP server

Folks,

I'm kind of new to VB.NET and nned to get a file from an FTP server. Problem is though - I don;t know how to do this...

I have the following details:

IP address of server
Command TCP port
Data TCP port
PASV mode should be used - what ever that means!
Applicable User name
Corresponding Password
Applicable folders

Can anyone help me with this please? I would greatly appreciate any comments/suggestions/code-samples that you could share.
