Failed to update Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300)

Hi,
Every time I allow Microsoft Update to download and install: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300) it fails.

Message: Failed to Update Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300)

Today I successfully used Microsoft Update to download and install: Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 x86 (KB932471) but it then again failed to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300) .

Can anybody help?

I think the KB929300 is the 64 bit update whereas the successful 32 bit KB932471 passed.
