i have been looking into event sinks for exchange 2010. All i find are examples for previous versions and they are outdated since microsoft removed some dll's that were needed. I have been trying to find up to date examples that explain the proces step by step, creating the service and registering it on the exchange server.
basically what i want is to intercept every incoming and outgoing message from our mail server and save a backup of that message in a folder.
another service will then perform some actions on these messages but that is irrelevant at this point, i just want to intercept a message, save a copy and then proceed to send the message to where it was suposed to go.
anyone that can provide some help and/or pointers?
