Excel doesn't allow me to save

I have a program which automatically writes data onto excel. My problem is once i've written the data, it doesn't allow me to save because the program always make a "read-only" excel file. I've tried putting the readonly to false, and have been using the saveas/save code in vb but it gives an error.

Can anyone pls. help?
