error for web application

If u cant see the pic " the error is about
"the web server reported the following error when attempting
to create or open the Web Project located at the following
URL:"http://localhost/WebApplication1', ' HTTP/1.1 500 Internal
Server Error'.
i already uninstall 2 times but still have the same error

Does the server have the .NET Framework? What is the OS? Try running aspnet_regiis -i from a command prompt after navigating to the .NET Framework directory.

I am having the same problem with an install on a laptop. Did you ever solve the issue?

O, i re-install again.. Coz last time i the S/W has 3 CD, and got that error, and i install again with another version which has 5 CD, it works. Maybe it because that CD dont have the part for web application. So, that;s why cant connect.
