Question Embedding application into afile

I have written and application that encrypts and decrypts files. When the file is encrypted and written I would like to embed the decryption part of my app into the file so that executing the file launches the app, even on PC's that don't have the full app installed - like a self extracting EXE archive.

Any ideas?
