Detecting a Process.

Hi, how can i workout if a process is running, for example test.exe. For my app i need to detect if MSN Messenger is running, and if it is, to close it.
Is there a way i can detect it, and then close it if it's open?

I have played around with the code that JuggaloBrotha provided, and it does work.

The catch is you have to leave the ".exe" off when passing the process name to the Sub.

hmmm, i find that quite odd, the same code will terminate process's with and without the ".exe" on my system but on another system in the house here it will only work without the ".exe" both systems only differ in hardware (drivers) i find that very interesting hopefully little things like that are resolved in vs.net 2005...
