Datalist paging

Hi all,

Just want to make sure what I've been reading is correct. There is paging on a asp.net gridview but not a asp.net datalist? If this is true, this seems really odd considering datalists are used on alot of eccommerce sites. Many places I've looked I see people implementing custom paging. If I do end up having to build my own paging any one have any pointers? I'm using ASP.NET 2.0. (I have access to 3.5 if paging is on the datalists there.)
