DataGrid Tutorial for dummies?

Is there a DataGrid tutorial for people who have never used DataGrid before? Everything i see involves a database. There has to be a simple way to add items to a DataGrid, right?

Will i have to distribute the MS SQL 2008 express with the program?

Users will need to have it installed, whether they install it themselves or your app does it for them. If you are using ClickOnce publishing or a Windows Installer Setup project to deploy your app then installing SQL Server Express can be done automatically. The download can even be optional so those who already have it installed won;t need to download it again.
