Datagrid question

Hi people, I was hoping someone could offer me some help please.

On the last row in my datagrid I have a row with * at the begginning, is it possible to remove this row? It's really annoying.

Btw I'm using datagrid and not datagridview.

How do I prevent the datagrid from displaying its append row (the row at the end with an asterisk)?
