Datagrid check box button update

Hi i have a datagrid with a few columns of data and the last column contains checkboxes.

i want the user to be able to select lest say 5 boxes, then click on a button to update my database table column to 1

i am just not sure how to code the button to action the update of multipul checkboxes?

any ideas
